I hated my job, felt way too settled in my suburban neighborhood, and had an awful nagging feeling that I was wasting my life on things that weren't even making me happy.
So what did I do? I sold my house, quit my job, and decided I was going to find a way to live life on my own terms. No more 9-5 office job. No more catering to other's expectations. No more ignoring my dreams. It was time to live for me—unapologetically.
For the first time in my life, I have no obligations. I have no job, no place to call home, no expectations I'm trying to meet. All I have is a lick of fear and the courage to overlook it. So, here begins my sabbatical. I'm taking the rest of 2024 to find myself, to discover what makes me happy, and pursue my ultimate dream of being a full-time author. It'll be a wild ride, but every struggle and revelation will be exactly what I need. This is the year my life changes.
My journey starts now, will you join me?
