When I turned 30, I realized something was seriously wrong. I was living the same day over and over. I was in a job that wasn't fulfilling, keeping to myself, and feeling stagnant. Life felt mundane and pointless, and I knew something needed to change. It took me a year, but at 31 I quit my job, sold my house, and decided to take a sort of sabbatical. I dipped my toes into the world of solo travel by roadtripping around California for a few weeks, and then started my biggest adventure ever. 77 days solo traveling around Europe. I decided that this was only the beginning, and not only was I going to travel more, but I was going to find joy in my everyday life. Since then, I've found new hobbies, widened my social circle, and truly fallen in love with life. The journey is hardly over, so why don't you stick around and see where this life takes me?

When I'm not adventuring outdoors, I'm hunkered down in front of my laptop writing novels as Angie Caedis. I've discovered that by pushing myself outside my comfort zone and constantly experiencing new things, inspiration is everywhere.
